Think about it, some kid decides to not even show his face, is surrounded by an amazing bright light in his bedroom and busts out a Youtube number one hit on the electric guitar that gets millions of views.

There are no amounts of guitar lessons that will launch someone into that sort of fame on purpose in such a short time. It must be fate.

Not long after millions of viewers watched and hundreds of thousand of people commented on his Cannon in D guitar shred, he appeared with the great Joe Satriani on the Youtube’s first annual awards show. They opened their performance with Surfing With an Alien and finished with screaming electric guitars playing Cannon in D. Fun-Two obviously had the lead guitar part as Joe Satriani humbly played rhythm on his electric.

Funtwo has appeared on numerous TV broadcasts since his unexpected fame hit the music industry by surprise. His electric guitar arrangement of Canon Rock has been feature in several well know newspapers and radio stations.

In the small circle of my friends who play guitars, one of them is learning how to play Cannon Rock. Many young people on Youtube have posted their versions of the Funtwo arrangement, but none come close to the excellence that he demonstrates in his electric guitar masterpiece.

And you have unlimited access to the lessons from any computer with an Internet connection, so you are free to come back to a particular lesson as many times as you need to. There are also tons of different genres. So, whereas the DVD and the book showed me a couple of basic things, the online lessons allowed me to branch out and try other techniques and styles as well. One other cool thing on some of the better sites is the access to popular jam tracks and downloadable sheet music.You do have to do some research though because the quality of instructors was lacking on some of the sites.
